Semi-Skimmed was created because we found that conventional web design just wasn’t meeting the needs of many small businesses and charities.

Its a common problem:  “I need a website to promote my organisation, but have only a small budget and limited technical know how.”

Traditionally you’re faced with two choices:

1. A very basic, template website that’s as cheap as chips but looks and feels as appealing as a battered sausage.
2. Go to a web design agency to custom-build your site, who then smirk when you tell them your budget.

Semi-skimmed have cut the fat out of the web design process to give you the best of both worlds.  As kick-ass website that you didn’t think you could afford.

The way we achieve this is simple:

• We have standard pricing - It’s cheaper to give you everything you want, than spend ages writing proposals and negotiating a custom package.
• We use existing technology - It takes years to build a theatre but minutes to change the set on stage.  We use a standard framework (from Wordpress or Magento) and customise the scenes.
• We are a web based agency - We don’t have a swanky London office, and do everything by phone and email.  We all know that nothing gets done in meetings, so we find it best to not bother.
